Our standard network bundle represents a time-tested combination of hardware, software, and network configuration that's perfect for the 5–25 person office. This package includes:
- An Atlas Standard Server configured with Windows Small Business Server 2008.
- Email and shared calendaring for your organization using Microsoft Exchange Server, installed onsite or hosted by a third-party vendor.
- Centralized storage of user documents and profiles, allowing users’ desktop configuration to automatically follow them to any system on the network.
- User account control through the use of Group Policy.
- Daily backup to an external hard drive using Symantec Backup Exec software. The backup drive will be rotated weekly to our secure offsite storage location (a small monthly fee applies for this service).
- Centralized anti-virus and anti-spyware software delivered to all systems on the network and managed online by Atlas.
- Hosted anti-spam and email anti-virus service, and email failover (monthly fee applies).
- A standard Atlas firewall which provides VPN functionality for secure anytime access to your network as well as supporting dual Internet connections with automatic failover.
- Business-class wired networking equipment with entry-level wireless.
- 24x7 active system monitoring to ensure your server and desktop computers are online and running smoothly (monthly fee applies).
The Standard Network is usually paired with a Standard Desktop for most users, with the option to downgrade to to our Value Desktop for users who only perform basic computer tasks such as web browsing and email. Atlas can also provide printers and multifunction devices that print, scan, and fax.
